Any programming or coding operation that may be interrupted due to internet connection is resumed later without any risk! Technicians in remote centers only perform operations that can be restored to 100% after any interruption if necessary!

The use of a direct LAN connection to the router is usually preferred for operations that require a constant and consistent flow of data, such as control unit programming. The LAN connection generally offers greater stability and speed than WiFi, making it ideal for large data transfers, such as software updates or control unit modifications.

WiFi connection can be useful for operations that do not require a massive data flow or for remote diagnostics, where the data transfer may be lower and a wireless connection may be equally efficient.

When using a LAN connection, the cable length is limited to 40 meters between the router and the ASB Interface

For any of the operations NO a special internet subscription is required, any of the RDS home use subscriptions or other companies will suffice!

Use a voltage stabiliser when working with diagnostics or programming control units on a vehicle.
